BILLY CORGAN AT HIS GOTHIEST

Recently Jordan and I stayed up late watching The Collected Videos of the Smashing Pumpkins. I feel like I understand the music more now than I ever did.

TALL COWBOYS DANCING FOR YOU

We went to The City last night and saw the always excellent Slim Cessna's Auto Club. I think it's unlike any other live show I have ever seen, being that the audience-performer interaction is pretty much constant (last night one of the singers grabbed an audience member by the teeth) and the whole atmosphere is something more like a tent revival than a country-punk-rockabilly show. I am easily swayed by two tag-team singers OVER 6'2 in full cowboy regalia who dance in formation and constantly refer to each other in their songs.
Last night Munly knocked over both Cooper and I's beers (they were on the stage, granted), then creepily picked the bottles up, intoned something about jesus, poured some out in front of us, and then kissed the mouth of each bottle. Also, he has grown a horrible creepy Hitler moustache! EXCELLENT!
