El Video y El Procrastineo
Last night at Rockit! Jordan played a collection of Smashing Pumpkins music videos on the monitors. Making me think about how I've missed out since I was never ever an MTV baby. And what I've gained.....
I definately missed out on seeing this amazing Aubrey Beardsley music video for "Stand Inside Your Love":
also- have you ever seen a Sigur Ros music video? I was amazed that they even MADE them, but Jessica showed some to me and they are SO beautiful, and familiar, sort of like they take place inside the landscape of my mind:

Wow.
The Sigar Ros vid is astounding.
However, the best video ever made remains and still is "Cloudbusting" by Kate Bush.

Do you find that there's a child in the roster that you identify with more than the others?
(I've been watching the Sigur Ros video a few times. Thank you! =) )
I've never seen a Sigur Ros video, but I feel like I'm about to suddenly understand the lyrics any moment when I listen to their music. Icelandic somehow has a similar cadence, with more emotionality that English, and I love it. Maybe I'll spontaneously understand it one day.
