Illustration Friday- Total Cop Out
ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY- *IMAGINE*
Please tell me that someone else posts these things at three in the morning. This topic stumped me. Can anyone alive not hear the song or see the inspirational poster with dolphins and rainbows hanging in your highschool counseler's office?? Here's my litle illustration of THAT. I'm the unicorn (duh) being stumped. The deer is all that is pure and good. Maybe I'm too cynical. Why don't they have topics like "Waste" and "Cesspool"? Hehe.

Okay...I agree this was a really hard topic. In fact, I ended up using something really, really old this week, because I couldn't think of anything I really wanted to draw. This drawing is so good...your work is clean and precise, and these two creatures have such appeal. I love the bowed head of the unicorn. I think my mind is in the cesspool, because my first thought was that the deer was propositioning the unicorn for some strange inter-species union, but the unicorn couldn't exactly get down with the concept! Imagine what the babaies would look like!
Very nice detail. Maybe it's the season, but I was thinking the deer was trying to convince the unicorn that the deer had see other deer flying----you know, "Just imagaine it, I'm coming home from the stream and what do I see up in the sky, 8 deer pulling this fat guy..."

Thanks for making me smile (at 9 in the morning AFTER that 3 AM post). I thought I wouldn't get that "smiling" thing ever again (or at least until 5 when I get off of work).
Carla, I'm going to draw a unideer just for you. One single antler in the middle of it's forehead and a cherry-red nose!
I was thinking along the same lines as Carla, so I can't wait to see what you come up with! *G* You're right, this topic was really difficult. Yours is beautifully drawn though. :0)
